I despise Singapore life. As you grow older and become working adults, you lose your feelings towards the world and the ppl around you.

I see a weak tree supported by wooden poles which are going to fall as well. It's by the road side. If it collapses, it will hit the cars on the road. But I'm thinking of calling the authorities up to do smth. But no, why not I get down the bus and adjust the tree and the poles myself? But no again, I can't do it all by myself. It's too heavy. So I thought how many ppl will actually stop and help me?? They'll probably give me weird stares. They'd prefer to watch.

Today, the Financial Director of my company left. He quitted after two years or so. At 4.45, he sent all of us a Farewell email. At 5, only one person went to wish him all the best. At 6, he left alone, silently.....leaving his door key and all on his desk. What is this? Out of 106 staff in the company, nobody went to wish him luck in his future endeavors.

What has the world became?? No, it's just Singapore.
